I read this book years ago. I decided to purchase it in audio. This was the first time I ever listened to an audio book. The book was as good as I remembered and kept me on my toes the whole time. This book really makes you take a step back and think, how much control that someone can actually have over you. I would recommend this book to everyone. Great read & Great listen.

Disappointing

The system is definitely not what I expected. It's basically topic outlines just like your board review course, but you can compare to their notes which I will say are good and detailed, but beware, I have noticed some minor mistakes and the software is a pain. It is supposed to track your progress, and help you organize and set a pace, but it does neither. However, after spending $$$ on the book, I was still using it daily even though I wasn't crazy about it. After a couple of months and finally getting used to the program I went on an out of area rotation and was close to a break down when I discovered all of my notes gone. After an hour on the phone with IT (who were and are still trying to help) basically they tell me that IT IS A KNOW ISSUE that the CD will not save your files. If you do not UNZIP the "Personal Professor" you COULD LOOSE ALL YOUR WORK. They sent me a link on how to save my future work online, however that does nothing for what has already been lost. I talked to the rudest, most useless Customer Service people as well with little accomplished. If you would think that the MoneyBack Guarantee applies to faulty software, you'd be wrong. This product has great potential and it may work well for some, but it delivers only a fraction of what they advertize with a side of disappointment and many software kinks.

Very well put together. Great study tool while in classroom and clerkship. Awesome computer professor to make it much easier for the student/ faculty to use as an adjunct to PA education. All the NCCPA blueprints for review are available as well. I am recommending to PA students as a resource.

I bought this book off Amazon and the unopened, unscratched CD included with the book will not load to my laptop, AND the online access code "Sedrak." does not allow access to the website. Very frustrating.

My Favourite Childrens book

A teacher at school read Rebecca's World to us as a class when i was 9, at the time the environmental theme wasn't apparent becasue it was before people realised the problem. I recommend this book to everyone, particularly to teachers, because everyone I know who ever read it as a child rates it as amongst their favourite book. I wouldn't say that this book changed my life (except for spending far too much time in second hand bookshops trying to find a copy) but even when i read it now, it sparks off my imagination. Any book which makes you want to know the characters better is great in my book, and I'm still sad when the story ends because I want to know more about the world, and the characters. This is a fantasic story

As a teenager I found this book to be an inspiration and a joy. I cannot remember the times I spent cold winter evenings in the company of Rebecca and her quest to save the last tree from the sinister creatures of her fantasy world. I would recommend this book to anybody who has an intrest in science fiction, science fantasy or the environment. I've lost my copy of this book now, but hopefully I can regain a copy and again read of Rebecca's journey. I have always vowed to share this story with my children, soon I hope this to be a reality. Read this book, you could do a lot worse for teenage fiction these days, but you couldn't do much better. Fantastic..

Excellent, a childhood classic indeed. It's because of Terry Nation that Peter Pan gave it all up for neverending childhood... the kind of story with warmth and vision that children will remember for a lifetime.

Fantastic tool for yoga teachers and students.

This is a beautiful useful tool for teachers. It would be especially helpful for teachers in training to get ideas for sequencing classes. This set contains 12 sequences designed to be taught in an hour long yoga class, it also has four longer class sequences which focus on either standing and supine poses, arm balances, backbends or forward folds that work together with a warm-up sequence. The warm-up sequence is also a great practice on it's own. Lastly it has a complete syllabus of all of the poses contained in the sequences. Each class sequence is laminated which makes it a great tool for teachers to teach from.

For example, norms are usually obtained with middle-class Anglo-Saxon English-speaking popula� tions, often university students, and such norms do not usually include individuals older than 65 years. Furthermore, very few neuro� psychological tests have been developed for Spanish speakers; fre� quently, tests are translated into Spanish (often poor translations at that), but the norms used are still those obtained from English� speaking populations. This volume summarizes the normative results of this research program. We anticipate that these tests and norms will be particularly useful in the neuropsychological evaluation of Spanish speakers, especially those with limited educational attainment, and the elderly. The United States represents the fifth largest Spanish-speaking coun� try in the world (after Mexico, Spain, Argentina, and Colombia), with over 20 million speakers. It is anticipated that by the year 2025 there will be as many Hispanics in the United States as members of all other ethnic minority groups combined. Further, about 10% of the U. S. population are considered functionally illiterate, with Hispanics rep� resenting an unusually large segment.

3er libro y fue emocionante, triste, rabioso y hasta sent� coraje al finalizarlo. Porque? Eso te toca averiguarlo a ti. Continua la saga entre Bea y V�ctoy, donde esta vez Oziel juega un papel importante porque juega un juego que a V�ctor le sienta fatal y Oziel disfruta al m�ximo. Escenas que las sientes hasta en las piernas, Magela sabe como hacerte rabiar con el juego de palabras a trav�s de sus personajes, esta dem�s decir que me encanto desde el 1er libro y espero el 4to muy pronto. Sus padres tiene que entender que Bea no es una chiquilla y los de V�ctor tambi�n, se atrever� V�ctor hacer valiente y decir que Bea es algo m�s para �l o lleg� el momento de que simplemente piense que Aunque jam�s seran hermanos como pretendieron sus padres y no lo vieron venir. Recuerden que Oziel es m�o, sorryhay que aclararlo Magela.

Absolutely Outstanding!

Scepter has done a great service by binding the 4 Gospels and the book of Acts into one very nicely laid out, quality, hardcover volume. The only thing missing from this, as opposed to the individual paperback editions, is the text of the Latin Vulgate. Most people (like myself) won't find that to be a problem, and what's left is the text of the RSV Catholic Edition (not to be confused with the inclusive language NRSV) and the full commentary from the paperback editions.
This is the first Bible commentary that I have been absolutely unable to put down. For starters, this commentary, as far as I can tell, is absolutely faithful to the Magisterium, and the explations truly reflect the interpretation of Scripture in light of 2,000 years of Biblical scholarship. Within the commentary, one often finds quotes from Saints, Fathers, and Church documents which address the passage, something that I find indispensible and immeasureably interesting.
The work is also extremely well cross-referenced, and provides an excellent opportunity for in-depth study. This is a work intended for those truly interested in deepening their understanding of Scripture in light of the Orthodox Catholic teaching.
All in all, this is the best commentary on the Gospels and Acts that I've seen. I only wish that Scepter would release the rest of the NT in hardcover format...

The best Scriptural commentary available

The advantage of this compilation of the Navarre Bible's separate Gospel narratives and Acts is that it preserves the extended commentary of the individual volumes. Although the similar Navarre New Testament Compact Edition is excellent, its commentary is abbreviated. All the books in the Navarre series are characterized by fidelity to the Magisterium, an assumed and defended historicity, reflections by Church Fathers and Saints, and contextual explanations. There's simply no better Bible commentary available and it makes for wonderful personal devotional reading or a text for group study. Expensive, but worth every penny.

I have been using the Navarre Bible, Gospels and Acts for a bible study at church. I have found the commentary to be one of the best that I have read. It delivers extensive historical background as well as being equally strong in spiritual growth and development. This bible came highly reccommended to us by our associate pastor who has served for several years as a seminary instructor.

Truly a journey worth taking for everyone.

This is for people who are serious about being a friend to Jesus. It contains history of people who have and gives you a step by step formula to do the same. This is the greatest book on the subject of friendship that I have ever (studied) read. If I had only one book that I could study about studying the Bible - this would be it. I just can't stress enough how awesome this book is. Complete with a schedule to make the most of the time we have left before Jesus returns.

This book asks a lot of the person reading it. It asks you to take a deep look at your relationship with God and make a decision to step up. There is no way you can take this challenge seriously, and do what it tells you to do, and not be changed. The author is also as vivid and intense in person as he is in his work. Great job.
