As an avid reader of Biblical fiction I was excited to find out that a new book had been written about Queen Esther. Seeing as it was an observant Jewish woman peaked my interest even more. The first thing I noticed on receiving the book was the authors bio-- she has 7 sons thank G-d!!
I began to read and never stopped. My poor kids:) for three hours I devoured a beautiful story told in an active voice by a writer who didn't play games. Who clearly wanted to stay as close to the story line her lengthy research (submitted at the end) had drawn for her.
If you're looking to learn the actual
Story without any Hollywood embellishments or personal agendas then this is the book for you. An inspiring, fun,and meaningful read that will leave the reader wondering what great role he or she can fulfill in our short time on this earth. Can't wait to read more by this author!

with gifts to the poor. But now

As a religious person I grew up hearing the Purim story every year. As I grew older I grew more curious of Esther and her story and wanted to read anything that had "behind the scenes" type of stories. I never found anything. For me, the Purim story ended when the megillah ended, with gifts to the poor. But now, I read the story I have craved for so many years. I saw Esther as a human woman, not just a metaphor or fairy tale like person. I saw her for the strong gd fearing woman that she was. I recommend this book for anyone who would like to know the real true story of Purim.

Amazing!

I learned and studied the story of Esther for a long time, yet this book gave me a whole new prospective.
The way the writer tells the story ( Esther's herself is telling her story) It really takes you there in that time period, and let's you relive that story together with the great Mordechai and Esther. Before I read this book, I learned and read about the story of Esther, but after reading this book I actually experienced the story of Esther.
I was inspired from this book and felt a sense of deep nostalgia towards the great people who were part of the Purim Story.
Thank you for writing this book.
